My Story – Your Path to Healing
My journey with food reactions was a wake-up call. In my 30s, I developed IBS with diarrhea, gut infections, constipation, bloating and pain. This was later followed by early menopause, anxiety, TMJ, fibromyalgia, and later autoimmune diseases with Hashimoto’s and mixed connective tissue disorder.
With more diagnosis came worsening reactions to food, I couldn’t make heads or tails out of. I thought I was eating healthy, instead I was getting sicker and sicker. None of the medical doctors or naturopathic physicians could help me. I knew I had to figure this out.
Being a medical doctor, a scientist, and now a patient, I figured out all the different ways that I was reacting to food using my own data. I realized there were allergic, nonallergic, and digestive reactions to food. There were so many patterns and solutions I began to put together.
